CMI has designed and manufactured a variety of drills/bolters for the underground potash industry based on unique application requirements such as: hanging belt line; bolts for supporting conveyor drives, take-ups and transfers; bolting hard to reach areas like installing crane rails in shops.
These typically have been an attachment that is powered hydraulically and electrically by existing customer equipment like scoops, telehandlers or forklifts.
The level of technology – automation and remote control – incorporated in the design is discussed and made to suit customers requirements.
